Michaela Percival - Registered Teacher, R.A.D Teaching Diploma. F.I.D.T.A
Miss Percival has been dancing from a young age and progressed through her exams to gain the Royal Academy of Dancing Diploma Teaching Qualification in ballet. She is also a Fellow of the International Dance Teachers Association, gaining the following qualifications - Associate Ballet, Licentiate Ballet, Associate Tap, Associate Modern Jazz, Associate Theatre craft, Licentiate Tap, Fellowship Tap, Licentiate Theatre Craft and Fellowship Theatre craft.
She is also a fully qualified first aider and holds the fully enhanced CRB Disclosure.
Miss Percival has been teaching for 21 years and is principal of the School, which holds over 300 pupils, and also The Stepping Out Performing Arts School, which holds over 50 pupils, providing training in drama singing and dancing.
Our aim is to promote each pupil’s enjoyment of dance and achieve the highest possible standard for each child.
Olivia Evans - A.I.D.T.A
Olivia has been dancing from a young age, studying I.D.T.A and R.A.D exams in ballet tap and disco. She has been teaching for the School since 1999 and holds the Associate qualification of The International Dance Teachers Association. She is also a fully qualified First Aider and holds the fully enhanced disclosure with the CRB.
Olivia takes ballet tap and disco classes at the School and trains many of the pupils for their exams. She has an excellent manner with the pupils and always brings out their best qualities.
Sarah Murray
Sarah started dancing at the age of 7 years. During this time she passed many graded exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern and also took part in pantomimes at the Theatre Royal, Tyne Theatre and Sunderland Empire.
Last year, Sarah passed her Level 3 Certificate with Distinction in Dance Teaching with the British Ballet Organisation in London. Also she has just finished her Diploma in Dance Teaching and is now a fully qualified Dance Teacher and has completed her BBO Ballet Teaching Exam.
Sarah started her employment in April 2006 and teaches/assists with the Saturday morning younger classes in Ballet, Tap and Disco. She has a very encouraging attitude with the children.
